What’s a Halloween Pizza
Halloween pizzas are as simple as they sound. An easy pizza recipe that you can make at home, decorated (using toppings and a little creativity) to look perfect as a Halloween meal. You can get as creative as you like, and for that reason this is a fun activity to do with your kids (although it’s a fairly simple process, younger children will need a little help preparing and baking the pizza dough).

While this homemade Halloween pizza doesn’t require a fancy pizza oven to bake, you may want to have a pizza cutter nearby to cut perfect slices.
Decoration ideas
With this Halloween recipe, I’ve shown three different ways to decorate your Halloween pizza:
- A mummypizza;
- A spider pizza;
- And a Frankenstein’s monster pizza.
But your options don’t end there. With a little creativity you can also make a ghost pizza, or a witch pizza! And if you’re not feeling extra creative, don’t worry. Add a Jack-o-Lantern (or just some pumpkins) to your table to add a more Halloween-y vibe to the meal.
Alternatively, if you’re up for doing al little more work, get lots of green and black olives, and cut them up to make lots of little spider bodies. Grab a large cookie cutter, and turn each one into a mini-Spider pizza.
Heck, I can’t think of how you’d do it. But I’m sure you can figure out a Jack-o-Lantern pizza decoration too.
While this happens to be a vegetarian Halloween recipe, remember that you can always add pepperoni as eyes, or oregano as blemishes. You can even use cheddar cheese for areas where you need a ‘white’.
